What is Baccarat — what Myanmar players should know
Baccarat is one of the most popular card games in casinos worldwide. You do not need complex knowledge to play — you can learn it within minutes. Players bet on Player, Banker, or Tie, and the side whose card total is closest to 9 wins.
At 6pmg, players from across Myanmar — from Yangon and beyond — play Baccarat together on a single platform against a Live Dealer in real time. With a real dealer dealing cards live from a studio, the experience is more genuine and trustworthy than a standard online game.
A quick look at the basic rules of 6pmg Baccarat
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| Card values | Ace = 1; 2–9 = face value; 10, J, Q, K = 0 |
| Round flow | Player and Banker each receive two cards; a third card is drawn if needed |
| Natural Win | If either side has a two-card total of 8 or 9, a Natural Win is declared immediately and the round ends |
| Win payouts | Player win → 1:1; Banker win → 1:1 (5% commission deducted); Tie → 8:1 |
| Pair Bet | You can also bet on Player Pair / Banker Pair; Pair payout → 11:1 |
| No control over drawing | Players do not decide whether a third card is drawn — it follows the drawing rules automatically |
Strategy points to keep in mind when playing Baccarat
Favour the Banker bet
Experienced Baccarat players tend to favour the Banker bet because it carries a lower house edge. Even with the 5% commission, it is the more comfortable choice over the long run.
Manage your bankroll
Keep each bet within 2–5% of your bankroll. This helps you play long-term and limits your losses.
Watch out for the Tie Bet
The Tie Bet pays 8:1, which looks attractive, but the house edge is high — experienced players tend to avoid it. Beginners should keep this in mind.
Learn to Read the Road Map
Live Baccarat includes pattern boards: Bead Road, Big Road, Big Eye Boy, and Small Road. Understanding them lets you review previous round patterns before making your decision.
Set a Time Limit
In any casino game, the longer you play, the higher the chance of making poor decisions. Set a time limit in advance and play responsibly.
Practice in Demo Mode
Before playing with real money, try the demo table at 6pmg first to get comfortable with card values and how to place bets.
